Senior StridesThis is a low-impact class with interval weight training. Children will have fun playing games that will teach them the fundamentals of soccer.  Size 3 soccer balls will be used, but are not required.  If your child would like to bring a ball, please make sure his/her name is on it.Children should wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
 
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM    Water Babies - Water Babies, (Sat)
Enjoy a Saturday morning of water play with your child while she/he becomes familiar with elementary skills such as water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating and underwater exploration.YTRec staff will lead the class.Children must wear a swim diaper.
 
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM    Water Tots - Water Tots (Sat.)
Enjoy a morning of water play with your child while he/she becomes familiar with elementary skills, such as water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating, and underwater exploration.YTRec Staff will lead the class.Children must wear a swim diaper.
 
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM    Learn to Swim - Learn to Swim
Enjoy smaller classes for the younger children. Children will learn water safety, water exploration, front and back float, proper kicking and arm motions for front crawl and back stroke in a fun and comfortable environment.We would like to keep the children in the class at the same swim level as the other children.YTRec Staff will lead the class.

Senior StridesThis is a low-impact class with interval weight training. If you are able to march forward and step side to side, then this class is for you!  This class will also help you develop stronger muscles in your chest, shoulders, biceps, and back by using light hand weights.Toning, Abs and PilatesThis hour long class is a mix of weight training, abdominal workout, and core strengthening mat pilates. Weights and mats available.Sit-N-Get Fit! Are you interested in joining a fitness class, but are worried that it might be too strenuous on your joints?  Maybe you think you won't be able to keep up with everyone?  Have you ever been sitting in a chair and started tapping your feet or lifting your shoulders up in time to the music?  If you have, then Sit-N-Get Fit is the class for you!  This is a 30 minute class allowing you to sit the entire time while you strengthen, tone and become more flexible.POUND FIT: Pound fitness is the world's first cardio jam session!  A combination cardio and weight training exercise approach that includes some of the rhythmic techniques used in  Pilates.  Pound is a full-body workout. It includes exercises that involve alternate squatting and standing to strengthen the inner and outer thigh, buttocks, core muscles, and aback muscles.  this fitness workout is for all ages, and fitness levels.ZUMBA: Join the fusion of Latin and international music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, workout that is fun for everyone!  The routines feature aerobic fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.Hatha Yoga:  Participants will be instructed on how to connect their breath with guided sun salutations and other asanas (poses) and finish the class with a nice restorative rest..  This practice can improve flexibility, strength, balance, improve breath, and help center the mind.

6:00 PM - 8:30 PM    Point Blank Defense Classes - Attack, Prevent Being Victimized
Basic handgun Training:This class will teach firearm ownership responsibility, facing an imminent threat (perpetrator), multiple shooting stances, shooting defensively, handgun action types, draw stroke from a concealed position, racking the slide, holsters, loading/unloading, grip, causes of firearm accidents, ammo storage and more.Attack, Prevent Being Victimized: This is a 3 hour course providing you with the skill-set and training to not be an easy target. The first step toward safeguarding your personal safety is making a pro-active decision to develop personal awareness before you need it.  The following topics and more will be covered: Criminal mentality                   Personal boundaries Levels of awareness                 Common places of attack Self-defense devices                Self-defense techniques Physical security                      Home, auto security Realtor Reality: This course is uniquely designed for Realtors who show homes and properties placing themselves in a potential dangerous situation.  Violent crimes are on the rise against Realtors.  Four percent of realtors report being the victim of a crime on the job.  Forty percent say they've been in a situation where they feared for their safety.  This course provides training in realtor awareness, realtor tips never to be broken, keeping safe boundaries with clients, venting clients, personal self-defense techniques, personal defense devices, self-defense tips, when facing an imminent threat. This course covers both non-handgun and handgun training providing a well-rounded course for realtors.

Enjoy a morning of water play with your child while he/she becomes familiar with elementary skills, such as water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating, and underwater exploration.YTRec Staff will lead the class.Children must wear a swim diaper.
 
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM    Learn to Swim - Learn to Swim
Enjoy smaller classes for the younger children. Children will learn water safety, water exploration, front and back float, proper kicking and arm motions for front crawl and back stroke in a fun and comfortable environment.We would like to keep the children in the class at the same swim level as the other children.YTRec Staff will lead the class.
