This is a low-impact class with interval weight training. If you are able to march forward and step side to side, then this class is for you! This class will also help you develop stronger muscles in your chest, shoulders, biceps, and back by using light hand weights.
Toning, Abs and Pilates
This hour long class is a mix of weight training, abdominal workout, and core strengthening mat pilates. Weights and mats available.
Are you interested in joining a fitness class, but are worried that it might be too strenuous on your joints? Maybe you think you won't be able to keep up with everyone? Have you ever been sitting in a chair and started tapping your feet or lifting your shoulders up in time to the music? If you have, then Sit-N-Get Fit is the class for you! This is a 30 minute class allowing you to sit the entire time while you strengthen, tone and become more flexible.
POUND FIT: Pound fitness is the world's first cardio jam session! A combination cardio and weight training exercise approach that includes some of the rhythmic techniques used in Pilates. Pound is a full-body workout. It includes exercises that involve alternate squatting and standing to strengthen the inner and outer thigh, buttocks, core muscles, and aback muscles. this fitness workout is for all ages, and fitness levels.
ZUMBA: Join the fusion of Latin and international music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, workout that is fun for everyone! The routines feature aerobic fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Hatha Yoga: Participants will be instructed on how to connect their breath with guided sun salutations and other asanas (poses) and finish the class with a nice restorative rest.. This practice can improve flexibility, strength, balance, improve breath, and help center the mind.
- If the Dallastown Area School District should have a 2 hour school delay due to inclement weather, the class will be cancelled and added to the end of the session.
